你能數出多少？

The standard for Kindergarten states that students should learn to count from 1-100.  We will begin by learning to count from 1-50 and recognizing the number word for each number. This class will continue for four weeks and students will extend their ability to count each week.  In this class, students will be asked to introduce themselves and share the item they collected from outside.  The teacher will show the students what she collected from outside and she will count her objects while the students count along.  
Each item of the teacher will be placed on a chart with the correct spelling of the number word.   The students will then be given the opportunity to count their objects one by one.   
The students will practice identifying the correct number word of each number.  The teacher will hold up a number word and ask each of the students in the class, "What number is this?"  The students will get chances to guess the number(each number will be placed on different color paper).  The class will end with a review by all students counting out loud and looking at the number words as they are counted.
Week of November 17:  Students will practice numbers 1-20 by collecting and counting outside items.
Week of November 24:  Students will practice numbers 1-30 by using a chart and the game, "'What is Missing?"
Week of December 1:  Students will practice numbers 1-40 by using number cards and the matching game.
Week of December 8:  Students will practice numbers 1-50 by using items collecting outside, What is missing?, and the matching game.
