Is your student a fellow rock lover?! Have they ever wondered about the layers of the Grand Canyon? They can join me on an adventure through time, as we explore these historic rock layers! What type of rocks are they? How did they get there? And when? And what will happen next? And what about that river at the bottom of the canyon? We'll explore these answers and so much more, through this journey of the amazing Grand Canyon! This is a one-time class, in which students will learn through discussions and activities. We will end class with a fun game, to help students remember what they learned. *Class time given is approximate and can vary, depending on the amount of student interaction*

Hello! My name is Christine and I am a Colorado native. I have two awesome sons, who are 11 and 21. I love to travel, explore, learn and teach about nature! I have been to all 50 US states, about 22 countries and I can't wait to finally get to see the rest of the world!!
I have an Associate of Science, in geology, and a Bachelors in geography and environmental studies from the University of Colorado.
I have taught science, in a variety of settings, over the past 18 years. During that time, I also worked as a tour guide at a local commercial cave! Geology rocks isn't just a catchy pun, it's a passion! I teach a variety of geography and geology-related classes. My classes combine lots of interaction with hands-on learning.
