課堂經歷
This one-hour class meets weekly. During each session, students will learn to draw different breeds of horses and other types of equines, using a variety of media, including shading pencil, colored pencil, chalk pastel, and oil pastel. Each week, students will end the class with a completed (or almost completed) drawing or painting. The goal is to help students develop their drawing skills and artistic expression, focusing on the subject of the equine. Subjects include: Week 1 (1/15/25): Thoroughbred Week 2 (1/22/25): Fresian (aka the black horses in every fantasy movie ever) Week 3 (1/29/25): Paint Horse Week 4(2/5/25): Arabian Week 5(2/12/25): Appaloosa Following weeks TBD

Materials will depend on what students decide upon for their projects. I recommend to have the following on hand: - regular pencil - eraser (kneaded is best) - shading pencils - chalk or oil pastels - colored pencils - sketchbook or drawing paper
