During this time I will help students study, practice, or learn what is currently being taught in their classes. -Reading Skills (comprehension, and fluency) -Math Skills (basic math, a long with common core skills) -Writing Skills (forming complete sentences, punctuation, and parts of speech) I would like students to have their homework ready when starting class to make sure we are able to get through it all in our session. If student's do not have homework but need extra help on something please message me, and I will make sure to get materials to help them with their subject(s). Many students have different learning styles; I would like to use this session time to help them find their style and practice ways for them to feel more relaxed and confident in a learning environment.

Hello! My name is Cierra, but you can call me Ci Ci! I teach classes that help kids with Language Arts. I can teach the basics of phonics, conjugation, and even parts of speech to anyone who needs it. I use my "story time" classes to help pick out new vocabulary words and practice pronunciation. I also love to discuss literature, practice great writing skills, and even sprinkle in Drama classes to help with expression.
I earned a bachelor's degree in Communications in the year 2011! I've been teaching ESL and ELA for two years. I found my calling to teach while substitute teaching Elementary students. Ever since then I've been an online tutor, while in school earning my master's degree in education.
I believe in order for children to learn the lesson must feel natural to them!
My class is full of being yourself, and learning as we have fun.
