Students will experiment weekly with different mediums, materials, processes, and art-making techniques. Idea building and creative exploration are encouraged and critical thinking is emphasized. Students will be taught the basic elements of art and principles of design. Here is a general list of art supplies that will be used during the course of the year. Art supplies may be purchased as needed and is not required to purchase specific brands. Many items can be found at home. There is flexibility with the art supplies. I am happy to provide substitute options and instructions if weekly materials are not available. Feel free to communicate with the instructor if you have any questions or concerns. A list of the materials/supplies needed will be posted in the classroom the week prior to the class meeting.
