Hey you! It’s time to make some new friends. The school year is crazy, and everyone needs an opportunity to relax and discuss their days. Come and swap your favorite stories, tell us all about your week, or your family’s homeschool learning style! We are here to make friends, learn from one another, and laugh. 

I am a former homeschooler, who now teaches in the homeschool community, and I love to engage with current homeschoolers and help them in any way I can. Please also consider joining our Homeschool Mentorship club, specifically for older homeschoolers, which helps with the transition from homeschool to college and a career! 

Our session topics will be learner directed, and depend of the varied needs of the group each week. As a group begins to establish (within 2-3 weeks) I will start to allow students to direct the class in terms of what they want more (or less!) of, to best suit their needs! My goal for this on-going class is to provide an opportunity for homeschooled middle-school-aged students to learn from their peers, build friendships across the country, and gain insight as to how other families homeschool. This will empower my learners to get the most out of their education, and make friends along the way! 

We have also been lucky to have many homeschoolers join these classes from all over the world! Friends have joined us from: Canada, Mexico, Portugal, Namibia, Ukraine, England, and all over the United States!

No background knowledge is required to succeed in our ongoing class - just the desire to learn from others and make friends!  

If there is enough interest (3-4 students) we will continue our meetings into the Summer :)
