My goal is simple: help your student see history as more than their boring textbook. I love being relatable to my students, and I teach history with a connectiveness to pop culture references that they do understand. I feel like I'm a natural storyteller, and I enjoy sharing stories they are learning in history in a new light to help with discussions in class, papers, and tests. Initially my goal was to focus on American History and American Government topics, but with 10 years of teaching experience in World History, Genocide Studies, Native American History, I am available to meet them where they are at in their classes. Students will send me their study guide or what they are learning about in class ahead of time, and I will meet with them and modernize it with videos and discussion.
