每週 2-4 小時. There will be homework assignments assigned weekly. These assignments are optional but strongly recommended. They will help the learner to solidify what they learned. I will give feedback for each assignment. Assignment may take an hour or longer to complete.評估
Parents can request grades within the first week of class for written report for this course. Other than that, assignments will be graded if turned in and there will be informal assessments in each class.等級

This is a live course. We will be studying Calculus AB (Algebraic Based), an important prerequisite for STEM majors in college. This class is typically a higher-level high school course and/or many times taken within the first two years of university. The topics covered are listed in the syllabus. Please contact me if you have questions. Each class will have various approaches to learning. There will be a PowerPoint presentation, guided practice and interactive assessments to test understanding. There will be an E-book provided at the first week of class for students to follow along with. Students will have the opportunity discuss and writing on the online whiteboard, as well. My style is to investigate each student's previous knowledge, demonstrate the lesson and have students try on their own. Patience and perseverance are important in this course. By keeping the class size small, students will have full interaction with the teacher and each other. Before taking this class, students should have successfully completed Pre-Calculus.

Paper, pencil, and a ruler (or protractor) are essential. Students need to have a scientific calculator, as well. It is up to the parents' discretion if they want to provide their learner a graphing calculator. We will have graphing sessions where having one will make it easier. I will provide an E-book at the first week of class and handouts throughout the course.
