In this ongoing class, we will discuss different topics each week on items that High School aged learners may be dealing with or may need to make decisions on, such as career readiness and college preparation.  This is an ongoing class and each week will not build upon the other.  Order of classes may change based on the needs of learners enrolled.

Week of October 16th:  Essays -HS or College Application

Week of October 23rd: Organization - Why is it Important? How do I organize myself?

Week of October 30th: Resumes & Cover Letters

Week of November 6th: Mock Interviews
Learners will learn about tips and tricks for a successful interview.   We will focus on the importance of researching the company/school, in person and video tips, how to dress and how to answer certain questions. 

Week of November 13th: College or Trade School

Week of November 20th: Researching Schools and Letters of Recommendations

Week of November 27th: Course Selection

Week of December 5th:  Internships

Subjects begin again once the 1st session of classes has completed.

Please note that if the minimum is not met, the class may not take the entire slotted time.

This is an inclusive class in which students of all abilities are welcome. If a student is unable to communicate verbally they are welcome to use the chat. If your student has any other needs that require accommodations please let me know and we will work develop a way for your learner to participate in a way that they are able.
