Students will be asked to watch an Astérix trailer before class

Week of 10/8 - Thanksgiving
A jar or journal
Paper (if making a jar)
Any decorations students would like to use to decorate their jar or journal

Week of 10/15 - Book Discussion: Le Petit Nicolas
Students will be asked to read the blurb (provided) and watch the trailer for Le Petit Nicolas before class

Week of 10/29 - French Karaoke
Students may bring appropriate French song requests

Week of 11/5 - Armistice Day
Paper or cardstock
Markers, pens, etc.
Any other optional decorations students want to use for their cards

Week of 11/12 - Movie Discussion: Les Choristes
Students will be asked to watch Les Choristes trailer before class

Week of 11/26 - Play
No supplies

Week of 12/3 - Book Discussion: Le Petit Prince
Students will be asked to read the blurb (provided) and watch the trailer for Le Petit Prince before class

Week of 12/10 - Game Day!
No supplies

Week of 12/17 - Christmas
Paper

Another other desired supplies to make holiday decorations (for Christmas or another celebrated holiday; each student may decide for themselves)

Break-out rooms will be used in this class for group work for certain weeks and themes. All break-out rooms will be closely monitored by me switching between rooms to keep students on-topic and help when needed. If a particular group of students gets to a point of being out-of-control and other methods don’t work, break-out rooms will be stopped for a few weeks.
