Students will: develop critical thinking skills by participating in discussions practice and expand their reading comprehension skills analyze a text analyze theme, plot, setting, motif, character development, and other literary devices make connections to the modern world explain historical connections explore multiple genres
I have a bachelor's degree in History and Education and have been a humanities teacher for seven years in the classroom. I have taught novel studies for those seven years, and have run the book club at my school. I love helping students foster a love of reading.
