This is a private tutoring session aimed at students enrolled in a high school chemistry class that are struggling with the material. Please contact me to arrange a meeting time and provide with the content area with which you need tutoring. Please send me any worksheets that you need help with at least two days before class. I can help students with any topic covered in a standard chemistry class, including the following areas: Atomic Theory Nuclear symbols Radioactive Decay Ionic and Covalent Compounds and Nomenclature Chemical Reactions and Balancing Equations Stoichiometry Problems Electrochemistry Thermochemistry Kinetics Equilibirum Acids-Base Chemistry Gas Laws Colligative Properties

I have both a bachelors degree and a masters degree in chemistry and I have been a private school middle and high school science teacher for over 30 years. During that time, I taught classes in chemistry, engineering, earth science, life science, chemistry, forensic science, biology, and health. I enjoy teaching through hands-on experimentation and I believe that students learn best when they are activity engaged in the learning process.
