Curious about vegetarian and vegan cooking? Join this fun, weekly cooking class. You'll learn to make delicious, healthy meals that will impress your family. No heavily processed ingredients, just fresh and tasty plant-based meals you can be proud of. Plus, I accommodate gluten-free families (please let me know beforehand).

My goal is to teach learners how to cook vegan and vegetarian dishes without using processed food. I focus on health and wellness, and cooking and baking meals that are delicious and simple to make. 

The recipes primarily focus on vegan and plant-based options, but you have the flexibility to adjust them to suit a vegetarian diet if you prefer.

Some experience in the kitchen is required for safety reasons. Learners should have experience mixing, chopping, and using kitchen equipment such as a food processor. 

We will practice mixing, cutting, kneading, flipping, and some multitasking. They will also practice cooking on a stovetop and oven. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged.

This class is ongoing and can be booked for as little as one session or as many sessions as you would prefer. Learners are also encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and express their preferences for different foods. 

This class is planned for 1 hour, but sometimes it might end a bit earlier or go a little past 1 hour, depending on the recipe.

Week of Oct 14-20: Peach Cobbler & Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream 
Week of Oct 21-27: Lentil Tacos with Avocado Crema
Week of Oct 28-Nov 3: Cherry Pie and Cherry Ice Cream 

Week of Nov 4-10: Falafel and Hummus
Week of Nov 11-17: Lemon Chickpea Soup
Week of Nov 18-24: Apple Pie & Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream

My classes have been praised by parents for their relaxing and therapeutic nature, providing a positive learning space for unique learning needs. I offer a flexible pace, visual and verbal instructions, and an encouraging environment.

This class requires the use of equipment and utensils such as a stove, oven, knives, food processor, and others. Most of the recipes ask for cutting, frying, baking products, and other hazardous tasks that can lead to cuts, burns, and other kinds of injuries during their preparation. Parental supervision and help during these tasks are required at all times. The recipes call for many ingredients, so please, check them for any food restrictions and/or potential allergens for your children. I will post the supply list in the classroom.
