I will begin by asking students what they know about food and nutrition. What are some foods you like to eat? Why do we need food? What do you think is the purpose of eating healthy? I will introduce the concept of food groups. I will show pictures of various foods and ask students to categorize them into different food groups. Discuss the importance of each food group and why it is necessary to include them in our diet. I will draw a large circle on the board to represent a plate. Students will suggest foods that could go into each section to create a balance meal. Students will interact with discussions,video clips and worksheets.

I had taught students about Health and Nutrition online and in person. The lessons I taught lasted for 4 weeks for 1 hour. The students I taught learned with participation, handouts and watching educational videos. I have taught for over ten years. I always provided parents with a lesson plan and materials needed for class for students. I have my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taken courses in health classes to learn more so I can teach correctly. My teaching expertise is the ability to teach students by understanding their needs and build a relationship to students, families and colleague. A quiz will be provided and parents will receive grade for students. I do not discuss or teach about diet. Mastery evaluation will be one hour
