In this fun and interactive class, students will be introduced to the Hawaiian Language in a nonthreatening and positive environment. Students will begin by viewing an interactive slide show which will help them to learn the Hawaiian alphabet, a crucial step in learning to pronounce Hawaiian words. I have been studying and practicing Hawaiian language and culture my whole life. I have a degree in Hawaiian Studies, and have taught in Hawaiian Language Immersion Schools for 4 out of my over 20 years of teaching.
