課堂經歷

This class will be a gymnastics uneven bars workout class that will implement strength, resistance and endurance training. We will introduce interval training and strength concepts.

The workout will consist of 30 minutes of bars training and 10 minutes of stretching. These will benefit the young Gymnast by helping them develop core, arm, and upper body strength. Stretching concepts of the upper body will increase flexibility and mobility. We will use single bar equipment located at their home, a chair, a sofa, a towel, and pillows.

All classes will begin with a light stretch and have a few stretching poses in the mix, they will also all end with a deeper stretch after bars practice.
In addition, I will demonstrate each exercise to students and provide explanation about it. Student will get individual attention, guidance and corrections for their performance.
My belief is,every lesson we take we can benefit in our life. Gymnastics balance beam class is safe place for student to learn and advance in their knowledge and importance of contain balance and maintain focus throughout the entire practice.
My teaching style is focused on making learning meaningful for all students with open door to discussion throughout the entire class time. Most importantly to empower students how to benefit from learned drills in their regular life as well in their athletic, competitive sports.

This is a workout class, so make sure your student is dressed appropriately. Students will need water to stay hydrate, yoga met or penal mets. Students will perform bare feet, to prevent injuries. Please be aware that there is always a risk of injury during physical activity. While warm up and cool down will be included to prevent injury, accidents can happen. This class is movement based so be sure your child have plenty of room to stretch and work out. Parents are allowed and encourage to supervise and assist their children during activities. It is recommended that this accure during your child's first classes in order to help him/her feel more confident during the class. Students practicing indoor can practice barefoot. In addition, students will need chalk for their hands.

Hello!
My name is Zulieta Smoljan and my students like to call me teacher Julietta. I have a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Ed with major in gymnastics from the University of Kinesiology and Science of Zagreb, Croatia. I spend 35 years teaching in classroom setup and more than 35 years coaching high-level gymnastics. Gymnastics is one passion in my life where I enjoy preparing my students for gymnastics competition on National and International platforms. Last five years I have been teaching in an ESL classroom helping students with special needs in Math, Language Art, Social Study, Anatomy, every subject for grade K-12. During this unfortunate pandemic, I have bean teaching my student on Zoom platform conditioning, flexibility, and helping them cope with their age concerns and questions.  Therefore, my sessions with my students include but not limited to teach them the importance of positive Mindset and how to achieve it.  I love seeing the joy that comes when a child learns and master a new skill.
I am a very energetic teacher and I love making kids excited about learning and celebrate their achievements. 
My goal while teaching with Outschool is to make my classroom fun, enjoyable, and academically strong place to learn.
