Happy Birthday, America! Wait, why would I say happy birthday to America in September? Learn why America began its life as a country in September and not in July. This one-time class meets the education requirement for yearly learning about the purpose and powers of the United States Constitution. Students do not need to have any prior knowledge of the Constitution to be successful in this class. This class uses an outside interactive application (Nearpod) to teach about the purpose of the Constitution. Students will learn why it is so important that it is put into an underground vault each evening.

Explain the purpose of the Constitution
Name the location of the Constitution
Recall when the Constitution was ratified.
