GUIDED READING BASICS TWO is a class that has been designed to teach, review and practice Reading Skills that are embedded within reading passages that students read on a daily basis. This is a continuation of the Guided Reading Basics One course, and the foci will be placed upon skills whereby the student must deconstruct and then reconstruct text to derive their answers. I have had more than 20 years of classroom and tutorial experience teaching Writing Skills to various age groups. I have extensive coursework and professional development training in the academic area of Writing. I have taught writing skills and strategies with English Language Arts Courses and with the READ 180 program which contains a writing component.
