Could your child use some additional assistance when it comes to the subject of Reading Comprehension? Are they struggling to achieve adequate or high scores in this content area month after month in school? This course will provide an opportunity to learn, review or elaborate upon one basic reading skill and a few strategies that are taught to identify this skill in a short paragraph or passage. Each class will be presented in a PPP (power point presentation) format. Following the short explanation, students will engage in direct practice by reading about three short passages to identity and reinforce the skill. I will provide the short passages; therefore, no books are needed for purchase! Each time
these classes are presented, I will practice a different reading skill, so please check this listing often.
