In this book the Groundhog is upset that he only gets 1 day a year and he feels he should get a entire month. As he goes through all the reasons why he should get a entire month we will learn lots of facts about the groundhog that we will talk about as we read the story. For the craft you will need: a brown paper bag (lunch bag size) brown construction paper glue black paper googly eyes white paper scissors.
Learners may need help with the craft activity cutting and glue the puppet together.
