Welcome to my Greek writing class! This course is designed for students who are interested in learning how to write in the Greek language. Whether you are a beginner or have some knowledge of Greek, this course will help you develop your writing skills and expand your vocabulary. Through interactive lessons and engaging activities, you will learn how to express yourself effectively in Greek and enhance your overall language proficiency. I will provide the sentence starters and phrases with slides or on the Zoom whiteboard. We will practice writing and students can see the words either on the screen or on my document camera. Weekly Outline of Topics (15 Weeks): 1. Θέλω να... (I want to...) 2. Μου αρέσει... (I like...) 3. Το αγαπημένο μου είναι... (My favorite is...) 4. Δεν μου αρέσει... (I don't like...) 5. Θα πάω... (I will go...) 6. Θέλω να πάω... (I want to go...) 7. Πήγα... (I went...) 8. Πρέπει να... (I have to...) 9. Μπορώ να... (I can...) 10. Προτιμώ... (I prefer...) 11. Μου αρέσει να τρώω... (I like to eat...) 12. Εχω... (I have...) 13. Θέλω να έχω... (I want to have...) 14. Ξέρω ότι... (I know that...) 15. Παίζω... (I play...) During the 15 weeks of classes, our goal is to have students gain the confidence and ability to write effectively in Greek and express their thoughts and ideas with clarity and precision.
