Long ago, before the Greek Gods ruled from Olympus, another group of Gods and Goddesses had control over the Earth. These Gods and Goddesses were known as, the Titans. In this ongoing class, students will be introduced to different Titans from Greek mythology each week. Students will discuss the myths related to the Deities of the week, learn about the events that inspired them (if applicable), learn about their influence on society, and talk about how the myths could be translated to modern society. This class will be delivered as a lecture, and have discussion elements. The schedule for the weeks is as follows:
