8 lessons//2 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Exploring TextWe will learn how to insert and edit text, and then we will style the text using various photoshop tools to make our letters look like floating balloons.Lesson 2Exploring PatternsWe will look at using patterns to style text, and learn how to edit the patterns to create 3D illusions, and much more.Lesson 3Exploring ShapesWe will look at adding, merging and styling shapes to create our own keychain design by engraving into the keychains.Lesson 4Exploring brushesWe will look at how to use dynamic brushes to create themed artwork, and learn how to incorporate the other skills we have learned so far.Week 2Lesson 5Project 1: the four elements - earth and airWe will begin our first project, creating earth and air using the skills we have learned so far.Lesson 6Project 1: the four elements - water and fireWe will continue with our project and create water and fire using the skills we have learned so far.Lesson 7Project 2: PopartWe will look at Popart styles and create our own popart projectLesson 8Project 3: Composite imagesWe will take several images and merge them together to create a photo illusion.
I worked as a Graphic Designer for over 10 years, creating brands, promotional leaflets, and much more. In addition to creating print and web still media, I worked on photography projects, video projects, and illustrations.
PLEASE NOTE: Photoshop Elements is not the correct software for this course, as it is basic photograph editing software, not design software. Adobe Photoshop is available as a bundle with Adobe Lightroom, for $9.99/month or $120 for the year.
