Grammar Made Easy: Steppingstones to Success is a small group class that will meet for twelve 50-minute classes over a six-week period. This class will include Powerpoints designed to present ideas and information, focused class discussion, and practice exercises. I encourage students to participate by offering their thoughts, questions, and answers.
Lessons will include:
* Parts of speech
* Sentence structures
* Use of commas and other punctuation
* Fragments and run-ons

Students will list the parts of speech, define the purpose of each and be able to identify them in sentences based on their use.Students will be able to identify subjects, predicates, direct objects and indirect objects in sentences and be able to use this knowledge to correct fragments and run-on sentences.教學大綱

Fragments and Run-ons
