This class uses the IEW Grammar book, Nose Tree. It covers many grammar topics and can be found here: https://iew.com/fix-it-grammar-level-1-nose-tree-student-book This is the first of the IEW Grammar books. Summer 2024 is the LAST TIME I will be teaching this class. I will have Books 2, 3, 4 in fall 2024, and then Books 3, 4, and 5 in spring 2025. Students search for and correct grammar errors. Students will repeatedly practice all kinds of grammar rules and writing in the context of a coherent story.
I have taught IEW in many ways for 16 years. I am a Registered IEW instructor.

Ideally, students should spend 10-15 minutes copying their corrected passage into their own notebook, so that at the end of class they have a completed story. Each Nose Tree sentence is about this long: Two of them fell asleep under a tree while the third built a fire and stayed alert. There will be 4 sentences to correctly copy after each day of class. .0 - 1 每週課外時間
