Nouns, verbs, adjectives, oh my! Like crafty detectives, learners discover the eight parts of speech: their purpose, function, placement, and style. As they master these skills, they earn badges. 

In order to build a foundation for future learning, students memorize lists of verbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and pronouns using chants and music. This helps them quickly identify them in sentences. As they progress and begin writing more sophisticated sentences, this logical mastery of important knowledge will benefit them!

Students will walk away from this class, confident in identifying and using the eight parts of speech in reading and writing.
