Week 4: Quantities in Chemistry
- Mole to mass 
- Molarmass
- Mass to mole
- Percent Composition 
- Empirical formula 
- Stoichiometry

Week 5: Chemical Formulas
- Atomic and ionic charges 
- Polyatomic ions 
- Writing ionic compounds, molecular compounds and hydrates
- Nomenclature (naming Ionic compounds, molecular compounds and acids)

 Week 6: Chemical Reactions
- Types of chemical reactions 
- Balancing chemical reactions
- Writing Chemical Reactions
 
Week 7: Gas Laws
- Boyles law
- Charles law
- Gay Lussacs law
- Avogadros law
- Combined gas law
- Ideal gas law

Week 8 Solutions and Solubility

Each week topic will be explained in a simple way and practical examples will be used, to help students understand better, where applicable. This class will be interactive and students will be able to demonstrate understanding by participating in solving the review questions towards the end of each class. Classes will hold twice a week for 8 weeks.
