課堂經歷
Have you ever wanted to draw all the Pokémon in the Pokédex? Or do a group shot of your team? How about your favorite gym leaders? Me too! Let's get together and draw our way through Kanto, Johto, Alola, and the rest of the Pokémon world! Each week, we'll meet up, and draw one character, whether Pokémon or trainer, from start to finish. While drawing, we will talk about the character we are drawing, from everyone's favorite scenes and moves, to maybe some lesser known facts about them. At the end of each class, we will share our creations, and determine who (or what) to draw next time! No huge amount of experience is needed, let's just have a fun time! Week of 11/28 - Gen 1 starter (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander), decided in class. Week 12/5 - Gen 2 starter (Chikorita, Totodile, or Cyndaquil), decided in class. Week 12/12 - Gen 3 starter (Treecko, Mudkip, or Torchic), decided in class. Week 12/19 - Gen 4 starter (Piplup, Turtwig, or Chimchar), decided in class. After that, we’ll start determining options either at the class’s request(s), or by using a random number generator to pick a completely random Pokédex entry (skipping any recent repeats, of course). We’ll keep it fresh by every now and then inserting weeks where we draw people from the Pokémon universe; Gym Leaders, Team members (Rocket, Flare, etc.), Trainers, Elite Four members, Champions - anyone we want! Note: At this point, there are over 1000 different Pokémon, so we could feasibly go twenty years meeting weekly without repeating a Pokédex entry, and that doesn't include the human characters. That being said, I don't personally think anyone's going to want to wait that long to redraw something, so when it comes to possible repeats, as long as we're giving other options a fair chance and not drawing Magikarp four weeks in a row, we'll be able to repeat things at a reasonable rate.
學習目標
Students will learn and improve on basic drawing techniques, such as proportions, perspective, and building complex shapes with simpler ones.

父母的引導和規範
Pokémon does contain some levels of violence, though it never crests into the realm of gratuitous violence. Some of the Pokédex entries have fairly dark topics (mainly Ghost-type Pokémon), but if anything becomes too much, we can always veer away from that topic and talk about different things.
供應清單
Pencils. 2H, HB, and 2B at least. A wider range is always better, but these three are the minimum you'd need. Eraser Colored pencils or markers (Prismacolor are fantastic, but also can be costly and are not at all a required brand) A few colors will be necessary, as each Pokémon has its own colors involved, but nobody needs to get a gigantic set of colors if they don’t want to. They can always simply be drawn in greyscale if necessary or desired! Sketch pad; 8.5"x11" or larger White and black colored pencils A black pen for outlines (again, not mandatory)
