In this one time class students will learn how to care for their new acoustic violin or viola. Students will learn how to tune their instrument. Students will learn how to hold their instrument. Students will learn how to keep their instrument in a safe place, clean and put it away properly, and how to set up their instrument. My teaching style is student centered, with responsive lesson plans that meet each student where they are at. Students can expect a mixture of lecture and interactive class discussions.
