The Pre-K experience is as much about learning how to learn as it is about gaining knowledge. My mission - always - is to foster a lifelong love for learning. As we play and enjoy each other's company, we will also work on basic, foundational math skills that will serve your child well in elementary school and beyond. This ongoing, daily session will incorporate music, movement, social and emotional learning... and more! Your child may come and stay for months or only join us for a few sessions. It's up to you! Each class will be customized and differentiated to YOUR student.

Hello!
I am Jessica! I am so excited to be teaching on Outschool and I am eager to meet your kiddos. Here on Outschool, I offer a variety of courses related to English, reading, writing, social studies and sociology.
As for qualifications: I have degrees in Sociology and Education and have published a Young Adult biography about the life of Gandhi. I have taught many grade levels, including preschool, and also ESL (English as a Second Language).
My teaching philosophy is centered around the notion that children learn best in low-stress situations with caring and empathetic instructors. I believe strongly that my students have all of the tools within them to learn and become their best selves. My role is as a supportive guide.
