Let's plan our summer holidays in Germany - virtually! In this ongoing, interactive summer camp I will help your child get comfortable with hearing and speaking German - either to plan a holiday in Germany or just for fun! For the camp, we will use slides, games, songs and videos in our lessons. I will encourage your child to speak and sing along by creating a safe and friendly learning atmosphere. The class is structured as follows: - Greeting and talking - Song - lecture - activities - videos/song - saying good-bye These are the topics of the 5 days of this German summer camp: Day 1: Summer: weather and nature Day 2: Things to do in Germany in the summer (amusement parks, sights, games, ...) Day 3: Things to eat in Germany (summer specialties), also cutlery/setting the table Day 4: Things to wear in the summer (in combination with colours) Day 5: How to travel to and in Germany (different means of transportation) #confidence No prior experience with German is required. Born and raised in Germany, I am a Native Speaker of the German language with no accent. I have taught Kindergarten (Maternelle) in Canada and I homeschooled my own Kindergarten son in German and French. Your child will learn German words and expressions quickly through immersion, play and songs. You can join anytime, as lessons do not build upon prior weeks. I am so excited to meet your children!
