When you were younger, did you really dislike geography? I have been finding that this is the case for many of my students. This class is to help students who are teens (or close to it) understand where things are in the world and how to remember where they are. This will help immeasurably with life, and it will be a fun. Also, as in most of my social studies classes, there will be memes. Each class will focus on a different country or region in the world. We will rotate continents in this...
Students will learn where places in the world are. Students will learn cultural characteristics of those places.
I have a Masters in Adolescent Social Studies Education and partially focused on geography education. I am passionate about knowing where things are in our globalized world.
