數學應用題的樂趣：2 級！

Students will answer increasingly challenging 2nd to 3rd-grade math story word problems about their favorite characters: Superheroes, Dog Man, Nickelodeon, Disney, and more! I have taught elementary students worldwide for 13 years and have learned when students are engaged and having fun; they learn better. 
Math word problems can be frustrating for many students and, for some, a non-starter. But, instead of the same old math, how about we make it fun and engaging by adding The Pj Masks Super Moves vs. The Night Ninjas and finding the difference between Bluey and Bingo's ice cream scoops after Muffin takes a colossal bite?!
The word problems focus on 2nd and 3rd-grade math, but any student working at those levels can certainly join! Whether a younger student who wants to challenge themselves or an older friend needs a fun way to practice their skills, "Fun With Math Word Problems" is for all!

In class, we will review our problem-solving techniques using my patented graphic organizer checklist, practice our detective skills in finding keywords, and discuss the best strategy: drawing symbols, writing a number sentence, finding patterns, or all the above! 

I will send my custom-made Math activities, graphic organizers, and checklist before each class if students can print them out. I will always display the word problems through the shared screen and solve problems with the students using my Wacom digital tablet. With my Smartboard and graphic design tools and can highlight, circle, and draw along while we solve, demonstrating using the I Do, We Do, You Do method.
