This semester long course covers the first half of first grade math. My classes are interactive and fun. I like to engage the children and we all problem solve together. I use props, a whiteboard, and fun animated PowerPoint slides during my lessons. Homework
頻率: 包括回饋: 包括細節: Each week we may have 1 or 2 problems or a worksheet to do at home. We will discuss this during class. I will send out a homework sheet (if necessary) and we will review the homework at the beginning of the next lesson. Homework is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. It should only take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.Assessment
頻率: 包括細節: I will send out feedback to the parents at the end of the semester. I will check in with the parents sooner if the learner is struggling in a specific area. I always welcome questions/comments during the semester.
The learners will need to print some worksheets at home. They should always have a notebook and pencil. Blocks of any kind (same length/size, different lengths/colors), and something to count (Cheerios, M&Ms, etc). I will send out an email ahead of time if materials are needed for the next class.
