Our Founder Crystal earned her degree in Early Childhood Education while achieving a specialization in infant/toddler development. She has worked with children for many years and was voted to join the New York Headstart Policy Council, of which she later became the Vice Chairman of the Board. Crystal initiated a plan to bridge the gap between early education and Kindergarten.

Crystal’s plan for Kindergarten Readiness came from a passion to prepare her children for educational achievement. Being a mother who genuinely cares about the growth and development of children, Crystal put her determination of bridging the gap to work. She thoroughly began evaluating curriculums, reviewing common core standards, consulting with multiple elementary schools, and resulted in creating her own proprietary curriculum called Future Scholars of Tomorrow which promotes 100% Kindergarten Readiness in all states. It is this passion for education and the strong will of a mother that led Crystal to create Future Scholars’ Academy.

On our Founders’ quest to find a healthy balance for her own children that were attending live classes. Two children were completely thriving while the other two were beyond miserable and frustrated daily due to school. She began to worry that her incoming kindergartener was growing a dislike for school early on and equating learning with a bad experience. 

Being an educator, she had always prided herself on assuring her children to develop a natural love for learning. Seeing her children so frustrated daily despite all her efforts left her heartbroken. She was determined not to allow these online experiences to alter her children’s love for learning. She quickly realized that her children needed different learning paths. So, she put her degree in early childhood development to work and decided to create customized learning paths, and extended the offer to families that might share some of her mommy worries and heartbreak. 

Desiring not to only offer the fundamental concepts she developed the need and willpower to immerse this program with enriched experiences that are affordable for everyone. 
 
Beyond the Circle Time Experience, she included prescreened enrichment videos that would extend the child’s learning beyond the fundamental concepts of the fun Circle Time Experience created by educators. She made these experiences all available on-demand. So, no more grumpy children sitting in front of the computer. The class can begin when they are ready.
 
For those little ones that thrive on a set schedule, we offer live classes 5 days a week. All of these classes are fully language immersed and every class uses the Kindergarten Readiness Curriculum which is featured under our Future Scholars of Tomorrow Curriculum. We have extremely small classroom settings to keep children engaged, learning, growing, and on a customized learning plan.
 
We tailored the program even more by also offering our blended instructional model. These are live classes three days a week. Our founder wanted to ensure all children with different learning styles, temperaments, and needs are meet at FSA.
