Class Experience: This class is for beginner level of Farsi speakers. I will read the story in Farsi: Day 1: "مي مي ني، يك عالمه شيريني" by N. Keshavarz (Mimini eats lots of sweets) while acting act with puppets and other prompts. Day2: "مي مي ني حالا تميزتريني" Day3: "مي مي ني گُل مي كشه يا ني ني" These books have rhymes, characters, colorful pictures and actions that are familiar & appealing to little minds. In this class children: *will experience the Joy of listening to a story *expand their Farsi vocabulary *improve their Farsi understanding skills *practice critical thinking *learn that actions has consequences *articulate their vision through a 2D image
I am a native Farsi speaker. I've got my Bachelor degree in Translating English to Farsi. I've translated two books that have been published years ago. With my fluency in both Farsi and English, I am sure this class will attract bi-lingual learners.
