My goal is to help students have fun and see music as a game. My experience over the past nineteen years, both in the classroom and studio, has shown me that the best way to motivate learners is to make the learning process feel 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺.

This has been the key to unlocking potential that my student’s didn’t even know they had! 

The majority of my students move through their books at a faster rate than the “average” time that the publisher suggests it should take – 50% less time! 

I believe it is directly connected to the exploratory and creative environment I create in my lessons.

It’s very exciting and motivating for a new student to see how quickly they can learn music!

1.  Begin with the  "Primer Part 1: Introductory Piano Adventure." 

During these 8-weeks, students learn the 7 basic facts that they need to play music and complete the Primer Lesson Book to the "Faber Piano Adventures" series together. 

There are 3 levels to this program which will get students on a great start to their studies alongside one another in an engaging and supportive environment.

🙏🏽 I do ask that parents prepare to sit with our young learners (8 and under) for the first 2 lessons to ensure your child has the best possible start to their classes - as well as avoid any issues with technology or their keyboards + pianos.

📹 Full Play-Along Practice videos will be available in the classroom each week for students' review of their songs! No need to re-watch the entire lesson - unless you want to! 

We will cover the basics: 
- Posture
- Hand Position
- Notes on the piano
- Rhythm
- Music Vocabulary
- Reading basic music

𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦:
The course is structured around the concept that children learn music through immersion! 

Your child will be given the opportunity to hear me play to model how their pieces go.

We will then discuss the songs as they use "visual analysis" in understanding what is happening in the music. 


This allows the student to build their listening skills (ear training), sight reading (reading music), and creativity (applying musical knowledge to their piece!) 

★ＢＯＮＵＳＥＳ★

① 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞
Students will be given a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 printable theory workbook designed especially for each level. This will help to solidify concepts and check for understanding each week. Learners are welcome to work through it week to week or save it as a review at the end! 

② 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢𝗦
Following each class, there will be a practice video available for the learner to review and play along with the songs done in class. 

This is to support the learner in their journey for extra guidance throughout the week. 

🚨 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘 🚨

This course does 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘. 

Learners are welcome to share their progress with me! This is OPTIONAL. 

We will also have theory work from your 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 that is provided for the course. This is printable and meant to support learners on their journey. It's a fun way to review each concept learned!

🎓 Ms. Diana's Qualifications
I have a Masters in Music Education from the University of Miami (2010) and a Bachelors in Piano from The University of Tampa (2007). 

I first began teaching piano in 2005 and never stopped! I have run my personal piano studio, "Ms. Diana's Dynamic Piano Studio" to ages 6-90 in 1-1 classes while also teaching group piano lessons to Middle and High School age students for 8 years. Students have gone on to win piano awards as well as study music at the college level. Others have simply taken the true joy that is music with them on their continued journeys through life! 

I truly believe I have the best job ever and you'll be able to see the true joy that this brings be each and every day. Welcome to the Dynamic Piano Studio family! I can't wait for your journey to begin!
