課堂經歷
Calling all junior artists and musicians! Come and learn about the classic song Purple People Eater while creating your very own. Each student can decide how they wish to make their new purple friend. Options include: purple finger paint (picture will be provided in the classroom and it is our class picture), Drawing your own (teacher will demonstrate) or coloring a provided page. We will discuss the song after watching an age appropriate rendition, then create our pieces of art. We will end the class by putting together Purple People Eater Punch for students. As we drink we will replay the video and dance with our new friends. Note: Teacher will emphasize that these lovable monsters are make believe and for fun.

Students will enjoy learning about a classic song.
Students will work on shapes, colors, numbers and scissor skills.
Create a piece of art from their own perspective.
Socialize with other children.
Learn life skills, such as washing hands before making our punch and helping parents clean up when we are done.

Please note that if your child chooses to do the finger paint craft project, we will need to do the hand prints at the beginning of class. This way the hand prints will dry so that we can put on our eye and horn before the end of class.
Craft:
optional Print out coloring page
white construction or finger paint friendly paper (markers can be used instead)
purple finger paint or purple markers, colored pencils or crayons
white paper and a black marker or coloring utensil for eye or big googly eye sticker (or glued on)
construction paper for horn, this can be drawn on as well
Drink: (serves 2)
1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream, soft but not completely melted
2 cups Grape Soda
(optional): White, pink or purple frosting, sprinkles, whipped cream.
or for a healthier option you could ice some butterfly pea flower tea which is a nice deep purple and then put a little fat free whipped cream on top (or heavy cream).
Optional: use a clear plastic cup and use sharpie to draw a face on it. 1 註冊後即可取得文件
