Bonjour! Do you love being Fancy like Nancy? If so, then you of course have to learn to speak some French! Join us in this 5 class course, which will be modeled after 6 Fancy Nancy books, which I am sure your Nancy lover has read. Each class, we will learn a particular group of words and phrases in French about a certain topic/scenario Nancy has really been in herself! Students will receive manipulatives and activities to complete along with the teacher during class. We will have so much fun learning French like Nancy. Allons-y--that's French for 'let's go'!

Students will read a paragraph in French prior to class to see how many words they recognize before reading the book and learning words/ expressions in French. As the teacher discuses the book in English, students will additionally learn words and phrases in French to talk about the story. At the end of class, student will read the paragraph again in French, this time their reading comprehension in French will have improved greatly! Students will have a follow-up activity to complete after class 30 分鐘線上直播課

'Explorer Extraordinaire'
Students will read a paragraph in French prior to class to see how many words they recognize before reading the book and learning words/ expressions in French. As the teacher discuses the book in English, students will additionally learn words and phrases in French to talk about the story. At the end of class, student will read the paragraph again in French, this time their reading comprehension in French will have improved greatly! Students will have a follow-up activity to complete after class 30 分鐘線上直播課

'Spectacular Spectacles'

Bonjour! I am Madame Heather and I am a licensed French teacher for ages preK-12. I have 15 years teaching experience in the classroom and over 5 years teaching experience online. I have a BA in French, an MA in Sociolinguitics, and I have lived in the south of France where I taught ESL. I am an engaging teacher who focuses first on making the student feel comfortable learning a new language in a natural way.
