What better way to begin learning French than starting with the alphabet and the numbers. Many of the letter sounds are the same as in English so we will look at an alphabet chart and discover how easy it is to learn the similarities and differences. The French numbering system is very interesting and follows an easy to master pattern. In this class, we will practice the French alphabet and use it to spell many words (students' names, and common French objects.) We will practice counting, especially focusing on the numbers 1-9 as they create the foundation for learning the numbers 20-100 which follow an easy pattern. 

This class is taught in a fun and engaging way that quickly puts learners at ease. Learners should be ready to participate because learning a new language requires repetition and risk-taking. As this is a beginner level class, no previous experience is necessary.
