分數：為新手化簡分數

In this class, students will learn how to simplify/reduce fractions in a simple way. Students should already know the multiplication facts up to 6 x 12. We will begin by playing a multiplication game to review the multiplication facts. Students should have some prior knowledge of a fraction. The terms numerator and denominator will be discussed and identified. After the review, I will write fractions on the whiteboard and then show the students how to simplify each fraction using the I do, we do, you do strategy. We will also learn how to simplify fractions using abstract models. The students will be given the opportunity to solve problems on the whiteboard to show understanding of the skill.
