分數是小菜一碟

During this  class, students will be learning about fractions. This is a beginner course. It is designed to be an introduction that will involve comprehension checks about factions, once taught. They will learn how to identify fractions that are written in numerical form and ones that are illustrated with shapes, such as circles, squares and rectangles. They will be able to create their own fractions, after obtaining comprehension of the given vocabulary words: whole, equal, part, half/halves, and fourths/quarters.

This class will be interactive. Students will need to have a dry erase board and marker, during the class. (Pencil and paper will work as well.) We will also use a powerpoint as another way to check for understanding and review the learned material.


Reminder: This class is designed for students that are beginning to learn about fractions or students that may be having a difficult time with comprehending the concepts within working with fractions. Students are not required to any background knowledge of fractions.
