In this course, we will practice operations with fractions. Texas TEK 7.3 (B) Computations and Algebraic Relationships - Apply and extend previous understandings of operations to solve problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of rational numbers (Fractions) Each lesson begins with a warm up and includes a 10 minute timer, followed by direct instruction that includes check for understanding and YouTube embedded videos. Each learner can watch the video presentation of the lesson by MsVRichardson first or explore the Google Slides first. It is recommended that both are done to ensure access to the various learning opportunities and explanations. At the conclusion of each lesson, a wrap-up question is followed by a Discussion Questions / Activity. Learners can engage with the teacher by submitting a Google Form response to the question. Learners will receive a response if requested. Each lesson is designed for the novice learner and thoroughly explained with many additional resources.
