In this class, students will use their prior knowledge of fractions, decimals, ratios, and rates to develop understanding of percent and find the percent of a number. Having a solid understanding of percents will prepare students for their future as they calculate tips, understand taxes, and compare sale prices while shopping. How is your class structured? The class is structured as a self-paced online course, allowing students to progress through the material at their own speed. Each module builds upon the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each concept. How will you teach? Use a variety of online resources to keep the lessons engaging and dynamic. This includes: - Interactive video lectures with visual aids - Educational games that reinforce key concepts - Real-world examples to show the practical applications What's your teaching style? My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I aim to make math relatable and enjoyable by connecting it to real-life scenarios. Foster a growth mindset, and celebrate both small and large successes to build confidence and enthusiasm in math.
