This is the first unit in my violin training course. I am a Suzuki trained teacher with a Masters in Music Education. Designed for the complete beginner. Students will learn proper technique, posture and how to produce good tone as well as tuning their instrument properly, placing finger tapes and learning easy songs.

Students should be able to get a violin at some point in the course, although it is not needed to start. In fact watching the first lesson before getting a violin will be helpful in not getting the wrong size.

Hi,
I am a mother and homeschooling parent. I know first hand how important it is that children have access to the best education that they can work through on their time frame. Not only am I a parent but I hold a masters degree in Music Education and I have specialized Suzuki violin training. I am also a performing musician and have expertise in preparing for orchestral auditions.
I have served as director of a music school for over ten years, preparing my students for youth orchestras, competitions and RCM exams. Now, students can have access to my expertise from anywhere and at anytime.
