In this one time class, students will listen to a hilarious adventure story about a boy named Buzzzzz who has a pet fly named Fly Guy: Fly Guy Presents Space, by Tedd Arnold. The story will make us laugh while teaching true facts about space. Students will then follow directions to create a step by step directed drawing of a space shuttle with details. ~Students will use listening skills to actively listen to a non fiction story. ~Students will increase their love of reading with a fun character. ~Students will practice following directions to create a project. ~Students will use creative skills to do a directed drawing project. ~Students will use social skills to interact with other students.
Students will need a white piece of paper and crayons or colored pencils.
