In this 5 weeks FLEX class ( No live meetings) we will learn how to create kawaii foods and animals using the needle felting technique. Needle felting is a technique where we use special barbed needles to poke into the wool to bond them together to create 3D sculptures. This is a beginner friendly class, perfect for learners wanting to create something soft and fuzzy without needing to sew or knit. Each week, I will upload the class video on Monday morning. In this 5 weeks course, students will learn shaping different shapes using roving wool. We will learn how to felt ball, cone, prism, raindrop, and oval shapes. Learners will explore how to create different shapes by using the needle as the sculpting tool as well as attaching pieces together.
- Needle felting foam pad - Needle felting Needles - Roving Wool of learners choice. For this course, I used mostly white, yellow, and red. I also used a small amount of black and orange.
