一年級數學集訓營1

This camp style course is based off my popular "First Grade Math Meeting."
We will meet 5 days/week to practice various math skills. 

Class format:

1. The first part of the class will be repetitive in order to build number sense and routine. It may include calendar, number of the day, story problems, counting on a hundred’s chart, and mental math.

2. We will then focus on a particular math skill for the day. Math skills we will work on are addition, subtraction, story problems, counting, graphing, shapes, measurement, number sense, time, coins, and more!

Day 1- Friends of 10
Day 2- Decomposing numbers 0-20
Day 3- Graphing
Day 4- 2D shapes
Day 5- 3D shapes

3. Wrap Up/Closing

Perfect review for your 1st grader before 2nd grade or a preview for a rising 1st grader! This class is geared toward 1st grade concepts, but I think learners from ages 5-7 may benefit. Parents, you know your learner best! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Class policies:
-Students will be asked to be on mute unless it is their turn to talk in order to cut down on distracting background noise.
-Grown ups are welcome to be nearby to assist, but please stay off screen.
