Do you want to learn how to create your very own unique artwork? Do you have some art supplies that you are just itching to use?! Do you want to learn the basics, so you can actually put your own fun ideas into the paper in a realistic way? In these ongoing lessons, Students will learn drawing and painting fundamentals to start drawing and painting with confidence. They will learn the elements of design, explore with form and realism, use their imagination to create, speak about their...
Students will improve their understanding of color mixing, space, form, composition, art vocabulary, observational drawing, artistic problem solving, functionality of texture and different materials, different techniques in watercolor, acrylic, India ink, oil pastel, chalk pastel, pencil, printmaking, collage and the list goes on. They will also gain larger awareness of their surrounding because of their increase ability to see things as they are. They will have a supportive and nurturing space to practice their creativity and storytelling abilities. Emotionally, they will gain confidence and more understanding of their own unique expression in the world.
