I will use a running record to determine your child's reading levels. If interested, we can talk about guided reading sessions after this running record session. This means you will know what level your student is able to read at independently without much struggle and what level they would be at instructionally (with someone to guide them and still have success). We will begin the class with introductions and get to know you ice breaker activities before we jump into reading for our running record. Examples of previous classes: Guided Reading for Levels A-E and running records Guided Reading for Levels F-J and running records Guided Reading for Levels K-M and running Records Guided Reading for Levels O-S and running Records Guided Reading for Levels T-V and running Records Guided Reading for Levels W-Y and running Records Science of Reading (Pre-readers) Science of Reading (CVC Words) Science of Reading (Blends, Digraphs) Science of Reading (CVCe Words) Science of Reading (Ending Blends & R-Controlled) Science of Reading (Vowel Teams and Dipthongs)

The student will learn what reading level they are. We can then refer you to one of our teachers for 1:1 ELA, Guided Reading, Science of Reading or Reading Support.
